     OUR OPERATIONS

BOOKS—Amber Publishing is a small publishing house that specializes in the production and distribution of a series of regional books, in both fiction and nonfiction genres. In 2016 we changed our operations to mesh with a semiretired lifestyle and launched our eBook Division.

     Our titles pertain to the wildlife and historical values of South Florida. Some are still available only in paper, others have been revised and are available as eBooks for this growing market.  We have recently  released three new novels we have named the L.G. Clark Trilogy. These books are crime novels and related to Southwest Florida. They are available as eBooks and in paperback. There is a thread in each that connects to  our best-selling historical novel, The Calusan. If you have an affection for Sanibel-Captiva, or Southwest Florida, we also recommend you read our nonfiction  autobiographical history, Sanybel Light. This popular book has sold over 10,000 copies on Sanibel-Captiva alone. More recently we have published The Audubon Warden. This is a historically accurate novel about early wildlife protection in Southwest Florida.

          Our  SIGNS link will connect to  a variety of small, mostly wildlife-themed, novelty signs. These are American-made, durable aluminum, high quality, and reasonably priced. 

     Our link, CALUSA INDIANS, offers an account of these extinct Floridians and their weaponry. The replicated artefacts are based on those discovered during a late 19th century archaeological dig on Marco Island in Southwest Florida. Featured among them is "The Key Marco Cat."

     We continue to enjoy public speaking and are active on the regional speaking circuit.
